Welcome to Handan Jinmai Power Line Accessories Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
A parallel groove clamp is a type of hardware used in power lines for non-load-bearing splices, branches, and jumper connections of conductors.
Its name aptly describes its structure: "parallel groove" refers to the parallel channels inside, used to hold multiple conductors; "clamp" refers to the pressure generated by its plate-like structure and bolts.
As shown in the diagram, its structure consists of an upper pressure plate, a lower pressure plate, bolts, nuts, and spring washers.
The parallel groove clamp from Handan Jinmai uses a pressure plate made of cost-effective carbon steel with hot dip galvanized surfacement, cast or forged, with internally machined arc-shaped grooves matching the outer diameter of the conductors (therefore, when selecting a clamp, attention should be paid to the matching of wire diameter and size).
Main functions
Specifically, its main functions include: its design can provide voltage equalization or shielding, improve electric field distribution, reduce corona and radio interference, stably fix the conductors together, prevent them from loosening due to wind vibration, galloping, or other external forces, and stabilize the line.
This is a three-bolt grooved clamp. We can also provide two-bolt and four-bolt grooved clamps. Various sizes and styles are available. We have engineers who can design styles and sizes to meet customer customization needs.
