Thimble Clevis, more commonly known as a wire retaining ring, provides a smooth transition within electrical fittings, pulling the wires together, significantly improving stress distribution and preventing damage to the conductors.

There are many types of clevises available, categorized by their intended purpose:

Handan Jinmai's clevis is primarily categorized by its intended use.

*Aluminum Alloy Wire Clevis: Suitable for various aluminum alloy stranded wires and aluminum steel core stranded wire (ACSR).

*Steel Wire Clevis: Suitable for ground wires (GJW, GJ, etc.), typically made of a stronger material or galvanized steel.

*Optical Fiber Composite Ground Wire (OPGW) Clevis: Designed specifically for OPGWs containing optical fiber units, it features a more sophisticated structure and material to prevent damage to the optical fiber units.

This Handan Jinmai product, called the QH-5, is primarily made of hot-dip galvanized steel and has a surface treatment. It can withstand a tensile force of 50 kN.

The Handan Jinmai QH-5 is available in forged or cast crafts. The one we are showcasing is a cast version, which offers greater cost savings and manufacturing efficiency.
