three-bolt cable clamp

This is a three-bolt cable clamp, used in power fixture systems to secure conductors by clamping.

It comes in single-slot and double-slot clamps.

*The single-slot clamp typically consists of a pressure plate with a semicircular groove (the "groove") and a U-bolt (or directly connected to the tower's bracket). During installation, the conductor is placed in the groove, and tightening the U-bolt nut creates pressure to secure the conductor securely. It is primarily used on straight poles as a suspension clamp. It allows a certain degree of freedom for the conductor within the groove, facilitating slight movement due to thermal expansion and contraction during temperature fluctuations, thus preventing excessive internal stress.

*The double-slot clamp has a similar design to the single-slot clamp, but features two parallel semicircular grooves on the pressure plate. This allows it to secure two conductors simultaneously. It can be used as a suspension clamp on straight poles or as a component of a tension clamp on tension poles (requires other hardware). When used in tension applications, it provides a more rigid fixation, preventing conductor slippage.

Manufacturing Process
