Y-shaped ram's horn head hanging ring Y-type ball Clevis (also known as ball clasps) are core connecting hardware in overhead transmission lines.

Mainly used for mechanical connections between suspension insulator strings, tension insulator strings and tower crossarms/other hardware, enabling flexible angle adjustment and reliable load transfer.

Main application scenarios

Suspension string for straight-line towers: connects the crossarm mounting plate and the suspension insulator string to suspend the conductor.

Tension string of tension tower: Connects the tower hardware to the tension insulator string to fix the conductor tension.

Power distribution lines and substations: transitional connections for various insulator strings, adapting to different models of cup-head mounting plates and insulators.

Materials and manufacturing processes

Main material: Handan Jinmai uses high-quality carbon structural steel forging, which has higher density, impact resistance and mechanical strength compared with castings, and is free of sand holes and air holes.

Surface treatment: The entire surface is hot-dip galvanized for corrosion protection, with a zinc layer thickness of ≥85μm, meeting the requirements of DL/T 759-2023 and GB/T 2314 standards. It can be used for a long time in harsh outdoor environments such as high humidity, salt spray, acid and alkali, and the corrosion protection life can reach more than 30 years.
